Super Yacht Technical Management
Engineering Technical Support
Is a phone call or email away. With short response times to solve any immediate problems. Monthly meetings will be held with the Master of the vessel and Chief Engineer to ensure there is nothing missed, and everyone is aware of what is happening onboard the vessel and what is pending in the future
Classification Society and Flag State Requirements
We will liaise with Class and the Flag State to ensure all documentation is up to date with any previewed interventions being moved into the Planned Maintenance and properly addressed.

Planned Maintenance
A planned maintenance system increases the safety and reliability of any yacht, significantly reducing the risk of Operational Performance failure. We will monitor the vessel maintenance schedules and ensure the onboard Maintenance systems are being respected with the information being correctly input to the programme. If there is nothing in place we will initiate the use of a basic online system that can be monitored also remotely.
Bi-Annual Inspections
These will be performed during downtimes of the vessel to ensure that the maintenance is being performed in-line with the best engineering practices and that the standards expected are met.

Refit and Repair Planning Assistance
Having the professional resources and Engineering background, there are no surprises. The maintenance periods of the vessel will be correctly planned to ensure a timely completion and cost-effective result in the running costs of the vessel.
TAM will prepare the technical specification, tender to shipyards and contractors, and negotiate shipyard agreements up to contract signature.
Refit Project Management
TAM is well experienced in large refit / repair procedures.
A full time Onsite Project Manager will be appointed and oversee the refit monitoring time, quality and budget.
At all times Terry Allen (TAM) will be the Overall Project Manager and will monitor and scrutinize every decision that is taken under the scope of agreement between the Owners Office and TAM, It will incur frequent visits to the shipyards to audit the work of both the shipyard and the onsite manager.
Purchasing and Shipping
This area alone can save the client an enormous amount of money in running costs per year. TAM has a list of over 400 suppliers globally that does not require the “Middle Man” that often incurs large mark-ups in cost. Transport also can be negotiated to ensure cost effectiveness and less trouble for the vessel which means they can get on with doing their job. A purchase request system will be put in place that the Owners office will be able to monitor at all times with complete transparency of all transactions.
Preferred Supplier Accounts
A supplier must first be qualified to be accepted. This will require documentation from the supplier that clearly states the operating terms and conditions. This will result in short response times which in turn will see goods being delivered to the vessel with minimal delays.
Audit and Budget Control
This will be a trimestral report that will be forwarded to the Owners office for the purpose of information of past and future expenditures. This will ensure transparency for all parties and assist in maintaining a controlled monetary status of the running of the vessel.
